Environmental Scientist (Part-Time Contract)
Location: Remote with occasional site visits in the DMV area
Contract Term: 18 months
Hours: 5–20 hours per month
Start Date: Within 30 days

We’re expanding our team with a part-time Environmental Scientist who shares our commitment to integrity, transparency, and community impact.
Position Overview:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented, self-driven Environmental Scientist to support our field operations and documentation needs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a flexible, low-hour environment while making a meaningful contribution to public health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct environmental assessments and site evaluations related to mold, biohazards, and contamination
Review and interpret lab results, remediation plans, and regulatory guidelines
Draft and refine environmental reports, summaries, and client-facing documentation
Provide expert input on compliance with EPA, OSHA, and local environmental regulations
Collaborate with field technicians and project managers to ensure best practices
Occasionally support vendor coordination and client consultations
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental consulting, remediation, or compliance
Familiarity with mold protocols, hazardous materials, and indoor air quality standards
Strong written communication and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Comfortable with remote work and occasional site visits
