Job DescriptionJob Description

Experience in environmental consulting is but not required. Candidates should hold a degree in a science-related or environmental health and safety discipline and have at least one year of relevant experience. Projects will involve Phase I and Phase II environmental site investigations and indoor air quality assessments (including asbestos, lead, mold, etc.) as well as abatement oversight. Asbestos and lead assessor certifications are a plus.

This position involves indoor and outdoor work. Some activities may be physically demanding.

Typical responsibilities will include:

• Design and execution of projects

• Preparation of technical proposals

• Field sampling and data collection

• Independent technical analysis of data

• Preparation of technical reports and other documents

• Client communication

• Assist with business development

• Subcontractor oversight and management

Required Skills:

• Communication - Excellent listening, technical report writing, and speaking abilities.

• Integrity - Must be honest and have strong moral principles

• Team Player - Must work well with others in a team setting

• Multi-tasking – Ability to manage multiple projects at one time

• Flexibility - Willing to be flexible to get work done on schedule.
