Description
Environmental Scientist/ Project Manager
GLE is looking for an Environmental Scientist/ Project Manager in our Ft. Lauderdale office to join our growing team. Who as a member of our collaborative team, will help provide outstanding client service through creativity and technical expertise We offer a competitive salary, benefits package and bonus opportunities.
Job Description:
Perform Phase I/II ESA's, UST Closure Assessments and Site Assessments and
general field sampling (soil and ground water) in accordance with FDEP SOP's.
Prepare technical reports and proposals
Assist in the preparation of detailed Health and Safety Plans (HASPs), work plans and maps
Subcontractor management
Budget management and close interaction with clients
Job Requirements:
BS in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, or Industrial Hygiene/Safety
3-5 years minimum experience in asbestos sampling, assessments, planning, and reporting
Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) are required along with strong work ethic, reliability and the ability to provide unsurpassed customer response and satisfaction
Possibility of working nights and weekends is required
Valid driver's license as field work and site travel is involved; candidate will be responsible for transportation
