Project Scientist or Geologist (2 job openings)
Job Description: entry level to 2 years, and 3+ years’ experience, B.S. degree in Geologist or Environmental Scientists, Master’s level is a plus. We are seeking candidates with extensive experience in comprehensive environmental site investigation and assessment, Phase I and Phase II ESA, UST closures and PBS facilities, drilling, probing and excavation oversight, and remediation systems design, installation, operations and maintenance. Candidates must be willing to work in NYC and New Jersey and have a reliable vehicle. The appropriate candidate should have extensive knowledge of federal, state and local regulations, have completed OSHA 40 hour Health & Safety training, 30 hr Construction Safety, as well as up to date 8 hour refreshers. Right individual will also work directly with Project Managers for report writing and review, client relations, project estimation, and sub-contractor management and Field service management.
Specific skills we are looking for include:
- Strong technical writing abilities
- Field experience in sampling of environmental media
- Excellent communications skills
- Wordperfect, Microsoft Word & Excel proficiency
- Coreldraw or GIS, graphic program a plus
