Environmental Remediation Engineer or Geologist

with oil and gas sector experience to help grow our contaminated site assessment and remediation services in

Midland, Texas . In this position, you will contribute to innovative and challenging environmental projects, including the financial and technical evaluation, detailed design, permitting, and construction stages, while further developing the business skills needed for a successful consulting career.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Task and project management, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects, budgeting and budget management, adherence to schedule, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability.

Performing and managing contaminated site assessments, remedy evaluation, including preparing investigation work plans, feasibility studies, removal action work plans, remedy design, and remedy implementation.

Performing and managing site assessment fieldwork, pilot and bench-scale programs for soil, soil vapor, and groundwater technologies.

Preparing remediation action plans for soil, soil vapor, and groundwater remediation projects including drawings, engineering analyses and calculations, and technical specifications.

Preparing technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, and proposals.

Management and mentoring of junior staff and managing subcontractors.

Manage work to meet contract schedules, appropriate codes and regulations, regulatory compliance and/or enforcement and industry standard-of-care criteria.

Prepare for and participate in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties.

Consistent with our sell-manage-do business model, play a role supporting lead , business development, staff development, and mentoring.

Help broaden our reputation via publishing and visibility at prominent industry conferences.

Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed.

Education and Licensure

Bachelor's degree in geology, or environmental, civil, or chemical engineering (required)

Advanced degree in geology or engineering. ()

Professional registration or ability to obtain within one year. (i.e., P.G. or P.E.). ()

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

At least 5 years (7+ years ) of direct environmental consulting experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)

Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to environmental remediation and vapor intrusion. (required)

Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams. (required)

Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed. (required)

Knowledge of Texas geology. ()

Previous project experience in the Oil and Gas sector. ()

Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers. ()

Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)

Candidates must currently hold and maintain valid U.S. work authorization. New H-1B visa lottery and employment based green card sponsorship are not available for this position.
