Job Summary :

LOCATION:

GREATER BOSTON METRO AREA (REMOTE - NO PHYSICAL OFFICE)

Essential Job Functions:

Travel to project location, take detailed notes and photographs of site (2 to 3 days per week)

Conducting interviews, in person, via email, and phone

Ordering & analyzing government database records

Performing regulatory agency file reviews

Reviewing historical data (including topographic maps, Sanborn fire insurance maps, city directories, and aerial photographs)

Drafting of a standardized report using information from these various sources

Perform QA/QC to the satisfaction of both management and clients

Completing requested revisions & submitting report within pre-established timelines

Conducting field work to collect samples of potentially contaminated subsurface media (soil, groundwater, and soil vapor) and/or indoor air

Compare analytical contaminant data collected to applicable regulatory standards

Basic Qualifications:

To be considered, the resume of the applicant must demonstrate the following qualifications/skills:

Attention to detail

Strong work ethic

Valid driver license

Capable of field work

Ability and willingness to travel; expected to be 25% (travel not expected to exceed 2-3 days at a time)

Good computer skills

1-5 years of experience

Technical report review and preparation

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Independent worker

Phase I Assessments

NEPA Assessments

Qualifications / Experience:

40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification

Licensed ACM Inspector in Massachusetts

Management

Mold assessment experience

Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ASTM E1903)

Property Condition Assessments (ASTM E2018)

Transaction Screen Assessments (ASTM E1528)

Record Search with Risk Assessments (SBA SOP 50 10 6)

Environmental Professional (EP)

Education : Bachelor's degree or higher in Biology, Environmental Science, Geology, Geography or related fields

Education : Bachelor's degree or higher in Biology, Environmental Science, Geology, Geography or related fields
