We are partnering with a globally recognized manufacturer specializing in advanced safety and filtration solutions for high-compliance industries including industrial, healthcare, and defense. We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead the EHS function at a key North American manufacturing facility. This role reports directly to the General Manager and plays a pivotal part in creating a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace. There is significant opportunity for advancement, including potential to expand your leadership responsibilities across multiple sites as the organization continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS programs and policies in alignment with corporate goals and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards, while proactively identifying risk and driving mitigation strategies.
• Manage all hazardous waste protocols, including storage, documentation, transportation, and disposal in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct regular EHS audits, inspections, and risk assessments; develop and oversee corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA).
• Respond to and manage all safety complaints, incident investigations, near-miss reporting, and employee concerns to drive a culture of accountability.
• Maintain accurate Safety Data Sheets (SDS), chemical inventories, and regulatory documentation.
• Develop and deliver EHS training to employees at all levels; promote awareness and ownership of safety and environmental responsibilities.
• Serve as the primary liaison for local, state, and federal regulatory agencies and manage all compliance reporting.
• Track and analyze EHS performance metrics; prepare reports and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
• Collaborate with other departments and corporate leadership to align EHS efforts with broader business strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• High exposure to hazardous waste management and familiarity with RCRA regulations.
• Demonstrated experience working within and maintaining ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
• Proven success managing safety complaints, incident resolution, and driving continuous improvement.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and related regulatory standards.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform safety strategy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
