The EHS Manager will support and lead the implementation of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and management systems. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with all applicable environmental and safety regulations while fostering a culture rooted in communication, teamwork, and respect.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in EHS performance, managing regulatory compliance, and supporting a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace.

Some of the Responsibilities of the EHS Manager include:

• Oversee and support the implementation of EHS programs and ISO management systems (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001) to ensure regulatory and corporate compliance.
• Conduct and coordinate internal and external EHS assessments, including PHAs, JSAs, ergonomic evaluations, PSM reviews, and ISO audits.
• Manage site compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations; act as the liaison with regulatory agencies as needed.
• Maintain the site's Compliance Calendar, ensuring timely execution of training, emergency drills, and regulatory programs.
• Lead and administer Employee Health, Safety, and Environmental management systems, including dispensary services.
• Develop and lead the site safety committee, expanding its focus and scope for greater safety engagement and effectiveness.
• Prepare detailed reports for leadership on investigations and evaluations of safety, health, and environmental issues.
• Supervise and optimize the site’s hazardous and non-hazardous waste management programs, including reduction initiatives and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as the Emergency Response Coordinator, leading incident investigations and overseeing corrective action implementation.

Some of the Qualifications/Requirements of the EHS Manager include:

• Bachelor’s degree required (Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Engineering, or related field ).
• Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of environmental compliance regulations and EHS standards.
• Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards and implementation.
• Familiarity with sustainability metrics, reporting, and waste reduction strategies .
• Proven ability to collaborate across teams, communicate effectively, and manage cross-functional projects.
• Demonstrated project management experience with a hands-on approach and a continuous improvement mindset.
