Job Summary:
To ensure employee and contractor safety. Continually improve EnEHS (Energy, Environmental, Health & Safety) programs and maintain ISO 14001, 45001 and 50001 certifications. Work on cross-functional teams within the company and Indorama Ventures to share best practices and manage EnEHS related standards.
Responsibilities
- Promote Safety as the top priority through adherence to and development of EHS Programs
- Serve as the site sustainability lead with primary responsibility for entering all monthly, quarterly, and annual ESG data into Intelex, as required by Avgol and IVL.
- Send updates for team(s) on safety performance as required
- Perform safety investigations, RCA and complete CAPAs as needed
- Track and manage near miss program
- Complete safety assessments; Lead as the EnEHS Manager for the site
- Conduct safety training for all employees, visitors and contractors
- Maintain and ensure compliance with all OSHA and other applicable standards
- Compliance with ISO 45001, 50001 & 14001
- Lead and manage Safety Committee & Emergency Response Teams
- Maintain OSHA 300 Log and Stormwater Permits
- Implement preventive measures for safety with a focus on behavioral based safety
- Global communication on EnEHS related activities at the site
- Other additional duties assigned by Manager
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of applicable experience (manufacturing)
• Computer skills
o Microsoft Office
o Microsoft Teams
o SharePoint
• Able to multi-task and prioritize effectively
• Deliver guidance on task items to include follow-up (communicate effectively)
• Detailed knowledge of OSHA 1910 Regulations
Environment
Facility is a combination of (40%) manufacturing, (10%) warehouse and (50%) office. Non-Office areas are not climate controlled and are moderate to high noise levels. Physical requirements include lifting up to 15lbs, bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, reaching and some repetitive (computer) work.
