Environmental Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage the air permitting programs (PSD, Title V, MACT, NSPS, etc.).
- Manage air program compliance reporting.
- Assist with environmental audits of facilities
- Communicate, train and reinforce environmental standards and compliance activities.
- Conduct investigations of major incidents.
- Serve as Company representative with federal, state and local agencies.
- Manage compliance with federal, state, and local obligations (EIs, TSCA, etc.)
- Keep Standard Operating Procedures up to date.
- Write and train employees on Emergency Response Plans.
- Assist with Capital Projects when needed.
- Work with management on Environmental budgets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in science, engineering or other related discipline.
- 2 – 10+ years of environmental permitting & compliance experience specifically in air.
- Requires up to 25% travel.
