Environmental Engineer
in the
New York City
area. The ideal candidate will have a
Bachelors
or
Masters
degree in
Environmental Engineering ,
Environmental Science , or a related field, along with
5+ years
of experience with regulatory agencies, including USACE, USFWS, NMFS, NJSHPO, NJSE (HMDC), and NJDEP.

This position is full-time, on-site. Candidates are expected to live in or near the
New York Metropolitan
area.
Job Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to, the following:
Provide regulatory compliance review of Federal, State, and Local permits.
Provide guidance related to FEIS/ROD environmental compliance.
Interpret scientific data and develop technical memorandums.
Attend weekly team meetings and workshops to provide status updates and address regulatory compliance/environmental questions.
Qualifications
Bachelors
or
Masters
degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years
of experience with regulatory agencies, including USACE, USFWS, NMFS, NJSHPO, NJSE (HMDC), and NJDEP.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Project), Adobe Creative Suite, e-Builder, and Adobe Acrobat.
Proficiency in CAD drafting software (AutoCAD or similar) is .
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid drivers license.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required.
