Job DescriptionJob DescriptionEnsure facility's operations are in full compliance with environmental record keeping and reporting requirements, and managerial reporting needs. DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIESØ Learn relevant local and company requirements, rules and procedures. Strictly follows rules and guidelines and always uses the right procedure for the job. Promptly reports incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions or processes. Employees regardless of level, position or tenure are responsible for upholding the safety standards regulations and policies.Ø Collect and analyze environmental dataØ Carry out site assessments to determine environmental impact of activitiesØ Study human influences on the environmentØ Improve conservation management, including recycling, water and airØ Organize the effort to address and correct compliance issuesØ Provide technical support when neededØ Manage sustainability process and reportingØ Additional duties assigned by management QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTSv Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar field of studyv 3-5 + years of progressive experience as an environmental engineer, including experience in record keeping and reporting requirementsv Excellent planning and organizational skills, with ability to analyze and improve business structures and processes, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of individualsv Demonstrated capabilities to manage significant capital projects aimed at improving environmental performancev Desired experience with Title V permits, NSR permits, PBRs and standard air permits, SPCC plans, and SWPPP permitsv Some experience with Sustainability reporting and ISO 14001 system management also desired
