PennTerra Engineering, a well-established, team-oriented, and employee-owned firm, has opportunities for environmental engineers/designers/permitters of various experience levels.

 

 

Description: The position requires the ability to oversee all environmental permitting/reports/plans required for the design of residential and commercial land development projects for our clients.  This includes, but is not limited to, stormwater management plans, soil erosion & sedimentation control plans, NPDES permits, and interacting with clients, sub-consultants, contractors, and officials from municipalities, utilities, and relevant authorities.

 

Qualifications: Applicants should have obtained a degree in Environmental Engineering, Agricultural and Biological Engineering, Environmental Resource Management, Civil Engineering, or a similar field/degree/experience. applicants will be proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D, stormwater management software, and/or have obtained Pennsylvania Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) licensure. Applicants will need to have/learn:

 

 

·                  Experienced with the environmental requirements for land development plans (i.e., reports, plans, etc.) 

·                  Experienced with environmental permitting (local and state authorities) 

·                  Experience with NPDES permitting

·                  Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater management software

·                  Work effectively in a team environment and independently

·                  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·                  Organized problem-solver with attention to detail
