Environmental Sustainability Advisor
Location: Hull, Yorkshire | Permanent | Competitive Salary + Benefits

Our client is seeking an Environmental Sustainability Advisor to support a high-profile power and transmission project in Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to sustainable development and environmental excellence across large-scale engineering operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Expert Support – Advise operational teams on environmental and sustainability matters, ensuring compliance and continual improvement.
- Develop and Deliver Plans – Create and maintain environmental management and sustainability plans aligned with project and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure Compliance – Oversee environmental planning, permitting, and adherence to all relevant legislation and standards.
- Monitor and Improve Performance – Conduct inspections, audits, and incident investigations to identify risks and drive corrective actions.
- Collaborate and Engage – Build strong working relationships with clients, regulators, and key stakeholders to promote environmental excellence.
Requirements:
- Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in environmental management or sustainability, ideally within construction or utilities.
- Strong understanding of environmental legislation and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel.
