Job Description

Our client a globally renowned industrial manufacturer is looking for an experienced and highly motivated HSSE Manager to drive behavioral safety program and HSSE compliance. You will advise the Site Manager and the Site Leadership Team regarding all activities and accountabilities.

You will lead a small group of Safety professionals to drive performance whilst highlighting opportunities to develop standards aimed at creating a world class safety culture on site.

Ideal candidate will have:

· Degree in a scientific, engineering or safety discipline with previous experience leading HSSE programs.

· Demonstrated hands-on mentality and ability to lead without authority.

· Excellent communications and influencing skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships with site personnel at all levels.

· Knowledgeable in process safety standards and local legislation would be desirable.

· Highly driven and passionate in HSSE standards and procedures with the ability to influence and engage staff.

· Previous experience in change management and driving HSSE cultural development is required.

· Solid knowledge of LEAN principles (green belt or black belt education is a plus).

· Fluency in German and English
