Key Responsibilities
-
Review engineering service requests, determine the required service, and ensure compliance with quality control procedures.

Perform structural analyses on existing communication structures (including guyed towers, self-supporting towers, monopoles, and their foundations/mounts) using hand calculations, structural analysis software, and other accepted methods.

Prepare detailed engineering reports for low- to medium-complexity projects, including reinforcement and modification designs for towers, mounts, and foundations.

Review and interpret structural drawings, collaborating with designers to address discrepancies.

Review tower inspection reports and prepare recommendations for any required remediation.

Maintain accurate project data for reporting and customer service needs.

Provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries within your scope of responsibility.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.

General Technology degrees will not be considered.

Work Authorization: Must be a U.S. or Green Card holder at time of application. We are unable to consider candidates requiring sponsorship (including H-1B, TN, or OPT).

Experience:
-
Entry-level candidates and recent graduates are encouraged to apply; some related experience is a plus.

Knowledge of CAD software is but not required.

Familiarity with TIA/EIA-222 code and relevant structural design specifications is .

Skills:

Strong understanding of statics and structural engineering principles.

Basic proficiency with structural analysis software and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-
Ability to work effectively across teams and with various organizational levels.

Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Details

Work Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days in office (Tuesday–Thursday) and 2 days remote (Monday & Friday).

Location Requirement: Must reside within commuting distance of the Cary, NC office.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate; eligibility for full-time conversion based on performance and budget.
