Hazen & Sawyer is seeking an entry-level structural engineer for our Tempe, AZ office. The position will include performing structural design and analysis of environmental structures such as low-rise industrial buildings, pump stations, process basins, treatment facilities, dams, and spillways. Work will be performed under the supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer, meeting experience requirements for the PE exam.

Responsibilities:
- Computer-aided design (AutoCAD, Revit drafting/modeling, STAAD)
- Full structural design based on governing building codes and design standards
- Performing construction management tasks such as shop drawings reviews, responding to RFIs, and field inspections
- Writing technical reports and assist in the development of drawings and specifications for construction
- Candidates must be effective communicators and successfully work in multi-discipline team environment
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience
- BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural focus
- Candidates must have or be in progress of obtaining EIT status via successful completion of the FE exam
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and/or other software
- Experience or coursework in reinforced concrete, steel, and reinforced masonry
