The Opportunity
We're looking for an Entry-Level Maintenance Technician who's ready to learn, work hard, and build a career in property maintenance. You'll work side-by-side with experienced technicians and supervisors, learning how to keep our apartment communities running smoothly, safe, and looking great.
This is the perfect role if you're mechanically inclined, enjoy hands-on work, and take pride in fixing things the right way.
What You'll Learn and Do

Assist with apartment "make-ready" turns - preparing units for new according to Chamberlin standards.

Learn to troubleshoot and repair common issues with appliances, plumbing, lighting, and more.

Help respond to maintenance requests in a friendly, professional manner.

Support the team with preventative maintenance tasks and basic repairs in vacant units.

Learn pool care and chemical balancing to keep amenities safe and sparkling.

Participate in groundskeeping: keeping walkways clear, trash picked up, and community areas clean and inviting.

Assist with re-keying locks, cutting keys, and light carpentry or painting as needed.

Be part of the property's on-call rotation (after training) to handle urgent maintenance needs.

Learn how to manage inventory, work orders, and maintenance records accurately.
What We're Looking For

A positive attitude and eagerness to learn - experience helps, but the right mindset matters most.

Basic knowledge or interest in areas like plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or general repair work.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Strong communication and service skills - you take pride in helping feel at home.

Reliable transportation and ability to be punctual.

Previous maintenance, construction, or facilities experience

Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Schedule & Benefits

Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday)

Occasional evenings or weekends as needed for emergencies
