Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Entry-Level Machine Operator to join our cable manufacturing team on 1st shift. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in manufacturing. The Machine Operator will assist in operating and monitoring equipment used in the production of cable products while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor cable manufacturing machinery according to work instructions
• Load raw materials and remove finished products from machines
• Perform basic machine adjustments and report issues to supervisors
• Inspect products for quality, defects, and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Complete basic production and quality documentation
• Work as part of a team to meet production goals

Qualifications

• No prior machine operating experience required (training provided)
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic mechanical aptitude a plus
• Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment
• Dependable with good attendance

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 40–50 lbs with or without assistance
