A Global Freight Forwarder in Portland, OR is looking for an entry level logistics coordinator to join their team. This position requires you to take care of International Air/Ocean cargos. The position is a part of export department, so we are looking for someone who can handle stressful and fast-paced work environment.

It is one of the large corporations in Asia, and you will have access to career growth in the company. The company is doing Temp to Hired for this position because they would like to review your work performance and attendance. The temp term will be depending on your work (It could be 6 months to up to 1 year).

The ideal candidate for this Logistics Coordinator is someone who has minimum of 2 years pervious international export logistics coordination experience (Ocean cargo is ).

Responsibilities for Logistics Coordinator:
・Coordinate freight flow, clearance, and delivery of imported and exported goods
・Plan and manage the transport of all incoming and outgoing goods
・Prepare and process all required documents by carriers
・Support the operations department personnel in various roles and responsibilities regarding global logistics strategies
・Track incoming Air/Ocean Cargo and international shipments
・Analyze transport costs and prepare quotes for invoicing
・Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, exports, and customer issues

Qualifications Level Logistics Coordinator:
・Must be proficient in Excel and Data Entry

・Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management or International Business, other related field of studies

・Previous logistics coordinator experience with international Ocean export
・Proficient in MS Office software, including email, word processing, and spreadsheets
・Knowledge of logistic procedures and optimization
・Strong written and verbal communication skills

・Is able to work overtime if it requires

This position includes working in a manufacturing and/or warehousing work environment.
