We’re looking for someone motivated, a little tech-savvy, and well experienced in landscape construction. You should feel comfortable working directly with customers, leading crews, and communicating clearly with everyone around you. 

This position offers a base salary starting at $65,000 with the opportunity to earn an additional $ in our successful bonus and commission programs, like our awesome Project Metrics bonus, PTO bonus, and Group Profit Share.  Additionally, we support entrepreneurial culture through a strong sales commission program.   Pay is commensurate with experience.  We encourage you to present us with your compensation expectations.

What You’ll Do  

• Use LMN, our landscaping software, to track project efficiency, manage job performance, and lead crews effectively. 

• Oversee two to three active projects at a time, typically ranging from $10,000 to $50,000 in scope and/or one larger project of $100,000+ 

• Start each job strong by coordinating materials and expectations, checking in with foremen regularly, and stepping in to teach or support when needed. 

• Complete final walkthroughs with customers to ensure every project meets Design Works standards. 

• On the bigger jobs, you’ll collaborate with our Landscape Designer to fully understand project details, client goals, and design intent. 

• Participate in project meetings and work closely with the scheduler and senior project manager to keep operations running smoothly. 

• Help manage mornings by ensuring your project crews have the right tools, materials, and direction before heading to job sites. 

• Be a confident, friendly point of contact for clients, communicate clearly, solve problems quickly, and represent our company with professionalism and care. 

• Identify opportunities for upgrades or enhancements and earn commissions in addition to your performance bonus. 

• Build strong client relationships that encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships. 

• Be an operator during snow season, whether that’s in a loader, a bobcat, or a plow, we can assess where you’re most comfortable and assign you accordingly.  

• Help lead snow operations during the winter season, coordinate crews, support during storms.

What We Need from You  

• Must have driver's license  

• 5+ years of experience in landscape construction 

• Must be comfortable with customer service, sales ability is a huge plus  

• Management experience a plus, but not required if you’re a natural leader 

• Must be kind, positive, professional, and reliable 

• Tech comfort is important, especially with scheduling, software, and time tracking tools
