CBM of America LLC is hiring Level 1 Installers (Entry Level) to join our team on a contract basis. You will be assigned to CBM jobs. This is an excellent opportunity for persons interested in entering the Telecommunications/Network Deployment field.

Skills Required:

• Good attitude.
• Willingness to travel nationally on a consistent basis - up to 100 percent.
• Computer literate.
• Have a mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning.

The Level 1 (Entry Level) installer will be required to perform basic installation work activities. The Level 1 installer will be coached and mentored around these activities. The Installer will also acquire an understanding of Installation and Quality Standards contained in GR-1275 and local IP72202 Practices

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble, Erect, mount and align Common Central Office System hardware

• Run and secure cable and perform basic wiring functions. This shall include, copper, light guide and coaxial cabling.

• Butt, strip, fan, form and connect cabling for termination to various pieces of telephony hardware

• Prepare and connect coaxial and light guide type cabling

• Mount and stencil a wide variety of telecommunication units, terminal blocks, and interconnect panels.

• Perform basic power operations such as mounting relay rack fuse panels and perform the termination of power feeders. This also includes the running and termination of local fuse leads from fuse panels to various units within a relay rack bay.

• During removal operations perform cable verification and cable mining operations.

• Meet Network Equipment Installation/Quality Standards as prescribed in the GR-1275 and local IP72202 practices.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Level 1 installer is considered an entry level position

• Should posses a good mechanical aptitude

• Should posses a good knowledge of basic power tools

• Should have the ability to adapt to various work environments
