About the Role
We’re a Fort Worth-based TAB (Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing) firm hiring an entry-level technician to assist senior field personnel while learning the trade. This is a hands-on field position with rapid growth potential depending on your commitment and willingness to learn.
You’ll help verify airflow, test systems, support commissioning efforts, and represent our company on commercial HVAC projects throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Support lead technicians in testing HVAC system performance
- Operate and maintain test equipment (airflow hoods, manometers, etc.)
- Accurately document data on-site using tablets or laptops
- Work safely on ladders, rooftops, and in mechanical spaces
- Maintain tools and equipment provided by the company
- Travel to job sites within and occasionally outside of Texas
- Practice excellent jobsite safety and professional conduct
✔️ Must-Have Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual — work starts at 7:00 AM with a 1-hour lunch
- Clean driving record and dependable personal transportationAbility to take direction and work independently
- Drug-free (random drug screening may be required)
- Comfortable working safely from ladders
- Trustworthy, self-motivated, and dependable
- Able to travel for out-of-town jobs occasionally
- Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor
Nice-to-Have (Not Required)
- Prior construction or HVAC experience
- Familiarity with jobsite communication, email, and mobile apps
- Basic computer skills (Excel, PDF markup, Bluebeam, etc.)
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly wage negotiated at interview ($20–$24/hr typical starting range)
