Our client is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Geotechnical Engineer to support geotechnical and construction materials testing projects across diverse sites, including residential, commercial, educational, and infrastructure developments such as roadways and bridges. This role offers hands-on fieldwork, technical analysis, and opportunities to contribute to engineering reports under professional supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate boring logs and select samples for laboratory testing.
  • Review and organize testing data and reports for internal quality control.
  • Contribute to the preparation of geotechnical reports under supervision.
  • Assist with layout of soil boring locations and support field data collection for geotechnical investigations.
  • Support construction materials testing operations and coordinate with field technicians.
  • Perform basic engineering calculations related to soil bearing capacity and foundation systems.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification strongly .
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering (M.S. )
  • 1-3 years of geotechnical engineering or construction materials testing consulting experience.
