Entry-Level Field Quality Control Technician

Tri-State Utility Contractors, Inc. is seeking a hardworking and safety-minded Entry-Level Field Quality Control Technician. The Field Quality Control Technician visits service sites regularly and reports their status using a tablet-based system.

1. Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
   - Print daily ride list from our Work Order Management System.
   - Create Service Ride form in Connecteam.
   - Use Connecteam to report pipe-out status, utility mark status, obstructions, site readiness, etc.
2. Field Labor:
   - Visit each service at least once a week.
   - White flag the excavation site at new services.
   - Identify marked utilities based on .
3. Safety:
   - Follow all safety protocols related to equipment operation, underground utility construction, and natural gas pipe installation.
   - Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, trench safety guidelines, and state-mandated excavation laws, including MS811 "Call Before You Dig" procedures.
   - Identify and safely work around all marked underground utilities, strictly following company practices.
   Cutting or damaging marked utilities is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination.
4. Qualifications and Skills:
   - Valid driver's license.
   - Ability to work without direct supervision.
   - Ability to read and write in English.
   - Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing.
   - Must be able to pass DOT drug testing.
5. Physical Requirements:
   - Ability to walk over uneven terrain unassisted.
   - Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
   - Requires frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of heavy objects.
   - Ability to drive in excess of 200 miles per day.
   - Requires working in outdoor environments, including exposure to extreme temperatures, weather conditions, and potential hazards.
