ERP Business Analyst - Stoke on Trent with Hybrid Working - Salary: Competitive Salary

This superb manufacturing company export their extensive product ranges across the globe and as part of their ongoing internal Digital Transformation, are now seeking a motivated ERP Business Analyst to join them as a permanent member of their small and highly skilled IT function.

Committed to providing the ERP Business Analyst with full training on their infrastructure & IFS ERP solution, the role offers excellent opportunities to grow professionally and is therefore suitable both for Business Analysts who have good experience working with complex Databases or those already with hands on ERP experience.

Through contributing to the ERP Product Roadmap, planning & undertaking major ERP systems & module upgrades, providing day to day User support, liaising and working with the Third Party Developers and building upon or creating new Reporting capabilities, the role offers a broad range of tasks and exciting learning opportunities.

Responsibilities Summary:

Business Applications:

• Configure and maintain the IFS ERP solution (specific training with IFS will be provided)

• As part of the team, deliver a product roadmap alongside the third party developers

• Investigate, troubleshoot & document processes

• Document business requirements with stakeholders

• Build knowledge of existing system and new features

Reporting:

Assist in creating and maintaining management reporting within IFS and using external tools such as Business Reporter, Power BI and Crystal Reports

• Respond to Ad-hoc report requests

Support:

• Provide Internal support for all ERP issues experienced by the Users

• Provide first time fix or communicate issues to the third party vendors for resolution

• Track ongoing internal and external support tickets.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience working as a Business Analyst within a technical environment

• ERP support experience but would also suit a Business Analyst who is comfortable working with large/complex databases with the desire to get into the ERP environment

• SQL skills

• Some demonstrable involvement in ERP implementations preferred

• The ability to work on a range of disciplines within a technology environment

• 3 years technology experience in a business environment

• Willingness to go the extra mile and able to work to deadlines when required

• Enjoys high levels of personal organisation and motivation

• Excellent communication skills and confidence in communicating with staff of all levels

• Experience in supporting Users with a range of technical issues

• Previous experience of coaching and training end users is useful

• Experience in product development and the project environment

• Willingness to learn and continually improve skills and technical proficiency

Useful Skills Include:

• Specific IFS ERP experience

• Experience with designing and developing new application features from a business objective in a manufacturing environment
