Enterprise Quality Engineer

£120,000 + 25% bonus

50/50 hybrid model in Central London

If you're an experienced Quality Engineer looking to make a big impact in transitioning software development into a new Shift-left way of working and implementing the right test and development strategies then this could be the exciting role you have been waiting for!

We are working exclusively with a global asset management company who have a long, successful history and are looking to modernize their tools and strategy within their Enterprise Engineering teams. You would come in and be a vital part of this by having a pragmatic approach and playing a key role in the implementation of their strategy.

What they are looking for! / What you will be doing!

• Work with the Head of Quality Engineering and Assurance to advance test practices and implementing test strategy for the business
• Provide expertise in shift-left testing practices, test automation and tooling
• Provide leadership, guidance and training to to the SDET team and test engineers across other project teams.
• Set up appropriate test environments and representative test data
• Participate in design and architectural reviews of automation solutions across the project teams

What you need:

• Excellent shift-left experience, CI/CD and expertise in .NET / C#
• Expert knowledge of engineering principals, testing concepts, methodologies and processes
• Proven ability to design, construct and customize test automation frameworks.
• Strong experience in developing tests as part of software delivery pipeline without manual testing.
• Good understanding of TDD, how this impacts the design of software
• Good understanding of BDD approaches, tools and techniques for achieving high functional test coverage.
• Exceptional understanding of Agile ways of working
