Job DescriptionJob Description

️ Engineering Technician – Power Electronics

Bridgeton, MO | Full-Time | Electronics / Power Systems

Ready to turn theory into sparks (the intentional kind)? A fast-growing leader in power electronics and energy systems is looking for a hands-on, tool-grabbing, circuit-savvy Engineering Technician. We’re talking about someone who can troubleshoot with one hand and take precise measurements with the other—while probably holding a coffee with their elbow.

You'll be part of a collaborative team supporting real-world technology used in everything from high-frequency modules to smart charging solutions. This is your chance to roll up your sleeves and get inside the guts of cutting-edge systems.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Test electronic products and analyze data like a champ

  • Diagnose system-level failures—hardware, firmware, user error (we won’t judge)

  • Evaluate warranty returns and figure out what really went wrong

  • Maintain and repair lab/test gear (bonus points for creative fixes)

  • Support burn-in testing for high-frequency modules and charger systems

  • Take tech support calls and provide field support when needed

  • Research new tech and suggest smart improvements

  • Travel occasionally for installs, troubleshooting, or customer support (hotel breakfasts not guaranteed, but usually decent)

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Solid grasp of analog and digital electronic circuits (power electronics )

  • Fluent in schematics, BOMs, PCB layouts, datasheets, and other riveting reads

  • Hands-on skills with soldering irons, oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and basic hand tools

  • Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, PADS Logic/Layout, and LabVIEW

  • Comfortable working with 120–600VAC systems (and trained for it)

  • OSHA Arc Flash & 70E training under your belt

Bonus Points For:

  • Sharp troubleshooting instincts and next-level attention to detail

  • Clear communication and a collaborative spirit

  • Grace under pressure in fast-paced environments

  • Curiosity and a hunger to learn the latest and greatest in tech

What You’ll Get in Return:

  • Competitive pay that doesn’t make you do math to survive

  • Great benefits including health insurance, 401k with match, PTO, and more

  • Room to grow, advance, and make your mark

  • A team that values quality work, practical smarts, and people who take pride in what they do

  • Daily work that matters—this isn’t bench-warming, it’s bench-working

If you’re wired for hands-on work and live for solving real problems, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now and let’s build something that lasts.
