What to Expect

The Engineering Technician for PCS2 (Power Conversion System) is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of manufacturing processes. Key duties include monitoring and adjusting equipment, performing routine repairs and testing of PCS2 assembly, and troubleshooting issues to maintain product quality and efficiency. The Engineering Technician must be proficient in various technical skills, such as rework, parts salvage and using specialized software and machinery. Additionally, Engineering Technicians conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions to resolve defects and improve processes.

What You'll Do

Investigate and implement countermeasures to improve process Cpk and product yield, reducing scrap, and supporting Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives
Work with Engineering on production line improvement projects and ensure manufacturing instructions are always available and current
Sending reports to summarize and analyze yield, the results of root cause analysis investigations to a wide audience of stakeholders
Manage projects potentially involving multiple departments and/or outside vendors
Disposition, repair, or rework, all non-conforming materials that are produced by the manufacturing line
Day to day coverage of production line process, including rapid response on out-of-control processes to minimize cost and maximize productivity

What You'll Bring

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment
Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems
Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills
Skilled with common workplace software (MS Word, Excel, Visio, Access, etc.)
Skilled with common workplace web applications (Confluence, SharePoint, Jira, etc.)
Skilled with the use of a variety of hand and power tools
Must have command of the English , both written and verbal

Expected Compensation $30.50 - $44.84/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
