Key Responsibilities:
- Administer all aspects of the transportation permitting process for the Road Commission.
- Perform all office functions related to residential driveway permits.
- Receive, review, and process permit requests for work within road rights-of-way, independently or in coordination with engineering staff.
- Maintain project construction documentation and records.
- Prepare and assist with clerical support for correspondence, reports, forms, resolutions, traffic orders, easements, abandonments, contracts, agreements, and related documents.
- Assist with departmental administrative duties, including scanning, filing, recordkeeping, and closing files for completed projects.
Education and Experience:
Associates degree from an accredited college or university and one (1) years related experience.
License(s) and Certification(s):
· Valid driver’s license to operate vehicles in Michigan
· MDOT Office Technician certification (Should have or be obtained within one year of hire)
