Focusing on machine maintenance for specialized equipment, including flow wrapping, pick and place robotics, and secondary and tertiary packaging machinery.\n\nCollaborate as part of a four-person team under the guidance of the Engineering Team Leader to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on our production lines, and take ownership of designated areas, driving continuous improvement (CI) through digitalised analysis at your fingertips.\n\nShift Pattern (12-hour rotation, 7-7):\n\n• Week 1: 2 days, 2 nights, 5 off\n\n• Week 2: 2 days, 3 nights, 4 off\n\n• Week 3: 3 days, 2 nights, 5 off\n\n...and then repeat.\n\n⭐ What's in it for you?\nCompetitive salary £50,400-£56,700 (DOE + shift allowance)\n\nWelcome bonus paid in your first week\n\nHot food restaurant on site\n\nCareer growth opportunities with structured development & Mars University\n\nPrivate healthcare + equal parental leave\n\nOnsite gym and nurse/osteopath/podiatrist\n\nGenerous pension (up to 9% contribution)\n\nLife assurance (4x salary)\n\nEV salary sacrifice scheme\n\nGym membership & wellbeing support\n\nAnnual leave starting at 24 days, rising to 32 with service\n\nFree parking on site:\n\n✅ What We're Looking For\nSolid foundation in engineering, built through a recognized apprenticeship.\n\nHNC level in an electrical engineering discipline and a sound mechanical aptitude.\n\nProven working knowledge of 415v distribution, Motor control, PLC software, Process control philosophies, level 2 systems & networks. Experience of pneumatics & hydraulics would be an advantage.\n\nUnderstanding and knowledge of a broad range of Electromechanical devices.\n\nReasonable working knowledge of H&S regulations.\n\nComputer literate and comfortable navigating internal software packages such as Atlas PM, SAP and Microsoft packages\n\n Key Responsibilities\nPerform fault diagnosis leading to resolution of random failures on production machinery, identifying the root cause in the repair process.\n\nDetermine when and which technical issues are escalated to the days support organisation\n\nProvide technical experience/expertise/ information to assist others in resolution of equipment issues.\n\nResponsible for the safe and required delivery of all services into and out of the factory during shift (including steam, air, water, gas and electricity).\n\nUndertake planning of maintenance activities, for both self and others, to achieve smooth transition between maintenance and production availability of equipment.\n\nIn conjunction with the area engineer, ensures that the right planned preventative maintenance is completed\n\n What You Can Expect from Mars\nWork alongside 130,000+ Associates worldwide guided by our Five Principles\n\nBe part of a purpose-driven company shaping "the world we want tomorrow"\n\nAccess world-class training & development from day one\n\nJoin a company with an industry-leading salary and benefits package
