Job DescriptionJob Description

Engineering Technician 2 to join our Technical Operations Team. In this role, you will ensure the smooth functioning of systems and provide advanced technical support. Reporting to the Manager of Technical Operations, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing operations.


You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of technical systems and equipment, collaborating with engineers and technicians to resolve complex issues efficiently.

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement.


Responsibilities

  • Resolve complex technical issues escalated from Tier I support.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of systems and components.
  • Troubleshoot systems, subsystems, and components for failures.
  • Maintain system capabilities by testing existing equipment and programs.
  • Evaluate and implement new systems and software.
  • Provide advanced technical support for systems and services.
  • Develop documentation and support materials for training and instruction.
  • Assist in vetting and implementing tools for Tier I troubleshooting.
  • Advise and help implement new technologies.
  • Occasionally work off-schedule or weekends for critical issues.
  • Triage technical tickets and bugs before escalation to engineering.


Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (3–5 years in related roles).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and persistence in achieving goals.
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field .
  • 3+ years of relevant solutions/sales/support engineering experience (fintech ).
  • Expertise in supporting technology and learning management systems.
  • Strong understanding of web frameworks and monitoring tools (Splunk, Kibana, RPA).
  • Ability to adapt and figure things out on the fly.
