Job Description

Engineering Technician working in prototyping of special tools used in stamping working at Fortune 50 company on the MBS Professional Team. This position involves operating CNC Hurco VM10 lathes and SDS Easy Bender metal bending machines to produce rule dies and prototype components. Responsibilities include reading design drawings, setting up and monitoring machinery, inspecting materials for quality, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Operate CNC Hurco VM10 lathe and SDS Easy Bender metal bending machines.

• Read and interpret design drawings to produce rule dies and other prototype components.

• Set up equipment and machinery to required specifications.

• Monitor equipment operation to ensure consistent quality and adherence to standards.

• Inspect materials and products for quality assurance.

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
