Job Summary

Engineering Technician supporting CAD design, inspection, tooling, and manufacturing quality activities. Focus on precision measurement, data analysis, and continuous improvement in an aerospace environment.

Key Responsibilities (Mobile-Friendly)

• Calibrate tools, gauges, and fixtures
• Create and update CAD models and drawings
• Scan and inspect parts for dimensional accuracy
• Assist in tool design and manufacturing support
• Perform first article inspection (FAI)
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Collect and analyze manufacturing data
• Develop work instructions and specifications
• Drive lean and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure safety and compliance standards

• Tooling & calibration support
• Data analysis & reporting

• 3D CAD (NX / KeyCreator / SolidWorks) – 1+ year
• GD&T & drawing interpretation – 1+ year
• Manufacturing / machining knowledge – 1+ year
• Data analysis & documentation – 1+ year
• Communication & teamwork – 1+ year

Skills

• CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) – 1+ year
• EDM machining exposure – 1+ year
• PC-DMIS / Geomagic – 1+ year
• First Article Inspection (FAI) – 1+ year
• Lean manufacturing – 1+ year

Technical / Functional Exposure

• CAD design & drafting – 1+ year
• Dimensional inspection & metrology – 1+ year
• Tool calibration & validation – 1+ year
• Root cause analysis (RCA) – 1+ year
• Continuous improvement (Lean) – 1+ year

Education / Experience

• Technical school diploma required
• Relevant experience in engineering / manufacturing support
