Job Title: Engineering Technician 3 - CW

Payrate: $30/hr.

Duration: 12 Months (with possible extension)

Shift: On-site, first shift

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Metrology Support: Provides metrology support for process groups' research and development activities.
  • Wafer Management: Manage wafer movements and metrology requests from an online job queue.
  • Tool Operation: Operate metrology tools with minimal direct supervision.
  • Equipment Setup: Sets up metrology equipment and performs recipe adjustments within guidelines.
  • Result Analysis: Comprehend the accuracy and implications of abnormal results.
  • Data Integrity: Deliver metrology results with a focus on maintaining data integrity.
  • Training: Document and provide basic operational training to users of metrology tools.
  • Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

 

Other Job Responsibilities:

  • Advancement of Capabilities: Assist Metrology application engineers in maintaining and advancing the capabilities of metrology equipment.
  • SPC Testing: Run SPC tests and track tool performance of metrology assets.
  • Operational Tests: Perform operational tests and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshooting: Assist in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions.
  • Experiment Support: Support engineers in running detailed experiments and providing written pass-down.
  • Project Participation: Participate in basic to semi-complex projects requiring judgment and initiative, and complete tasks effectively while making recommendations for better solutions.
  • Vendor Interface: Interface with vendor Field Service Engineers to provide support and troubleshooting, ensuring timely solutions and minimal downtime.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must meet one of the following qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in a science or related area.
    • Associate’s Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to work in a clean room environment (bunny suit, safety glasses, masks, gloves).
  • Flexibility to provide on-call coverage for weekends or a compressed work schedule.
  • Ability to be flexible and responsive to changing priorities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science or related area.
  • Prior operation experience with XPS tools.
  • Prior semiconductor experience ( but not required).
  • Programming/scripting experience.
  • Strong team player and creative problem solver.
  • Self-driven, highly organized, and strong attention to detail.
  • Capability to manage a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science or related area, OR
  • Associate’s Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience
