A well-established mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Engineering Team Lead to oversee HVAC and plumbing design projects for commercial and industrial builds. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about driving technical excellence and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers through all phases of HVAC and plumbing system design

Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and technical reviews to ensure quality and efficiency

Interface with clients, architects, and internal stakeholders to align design intent with project goals

Evaluate design feasibility, perform engineering calculations, and identify value engineering opportunities
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical training and experience

5+ years of HVAC and/or plumbing design- build experience in commercial or industrial settings

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2016+), Trace 700; Revit or BIM experience

California PE license and EIT certification are a plus; LEED accreditation is desirable

Salary: $120K – $150K (DOE, with some flexibility)

Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
