Job Description
Location: Engineering Supervisor \n Salary: £42,000 per annum\n Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday \n Location: Worcester\nAre you a hands-on leader with a passion for engineering excellence?\n We’re recruiting an Engineering Supervisor for a busy depot in Worcester — someone ready to take charge, drive team performance, and ensure our fleet operates safely, efficiently, and reliably every day.\n \nWhat You’ll Do as Engineering Supervisor\n\nLead and supervise the maintenance and servicing of a large PSV fleet.\nDevelop and motivate an engaged, high-performing engineering team.\nPlan, allocate, and oversee all engineering work – both scheduled and reactive – ensuring deadlines and safety standards are met.\nMaintain vehicle availability in line with operational needs.\nSupport stock and warranty management alongside the Stores Manager.\nKeep accurate records for compliance, performance, and environmental standards.\nHandle staff reviews, absence management, and other HR duties in line with company policy.\nWork closely with operations and engineering teams to manage daily performance, including breakdowns, vehicle allocation, and on-road reliability. \nSkills & Requirements of the Engineering Supervisor\n\nNVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in an Engineering field.\nKnowledge of safe operation of workshop equipment.\nPrevious supervisory or team leader experience within an engineering environment.\nOrganised, detail-focused, and IT literate.\nFull, clean UK Driving Licence.\nUK with Right to Work documentation available.\nPCV licence desirable – full training and support will be provided to help you obtain this if needed.If you’re a proactive Engineering Supervisor or a senior PSV/HGV Engineer ready to step up into a leadership role — this is your chance to make a real impact in keeping Worcester moving.
