This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing food production business with multiple sites, offering strong career development across diverse manufacturing operations.Key Responsibilities - Engineering SupervisorWork closely with the senior leadership team to minimise machinery downtime through effective preventative maintenanceLead and manage engineering teams of 10-15 engineers across two manufacturing sitesSupport the Head of Engineering in delivering site engineering performance targetsDrive improvements in plant productivity by investigating performance issues and implementing solutionsIdentify root causes of breakdowns and equipment failures, ensuring corrective actions are takenCarry out and support both reactive and proactive electrical and mechanical maintenanceEnsure all repairs and maintenance activities are accurately recorded to identify recurring faultsMaintain availability of spare parts, tools, and equipment required for efficient operationsCollaborate closely with production teams to minimise disruption and maximise outputPromote continuous improvement and best engineering practices across both sitesQualifications & Requirements - Engineering SupervisorProven experience in an engineering supervisory role within a manufacturing or FMCG environmentStrong electrical bias with the ability to support mechanical maintenance activitiesExperience managing or leading engineering teamsAbility to diagnose faults, carry out root cause analysis, and implement solutionsStrong understanding of preventative maintenance systemsExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume production environmentEngineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND or equivalent) desirableWhat we can offer - Engineering SupervisorHighly competitive salaryGrowing and stable FMCG business25 days holiday + Bank HolidaysGood pension scheme (details to be confirmed)Excellent career progression opportunities across multiple manufacturing sitesCall for action:For more information on this role, please contact Charlie Boulton on 01453 852544 or send a copy of your CV toOmega is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
