This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing food production business with multiple sites, offering strong career development across diverse manufacturing operations.\n\nKey Responsibilities - Engineering Supervisor\n\nWork closely with the senior leadership team to minimise machinery downtime through effective preventative maintenance\nLead and manage engineering teams of 10-15 engineers across two manufacturing sites\nSupport the Head of Engineering in delivering site engineering performance targets\nDrive improvements in plant productivity by investigating performance issues and implementing solutions\nIdentify root causes of breakdowns and equipment failures, ensuring corrective actions are taken\nCarry out and support both reactive and proactive electrical and mechanical maintenance\nEnsure all repairs and maintenance activities are accurately recorded to identify recurring faults\nMaintain availability of spare parts, tools, and equipment required for efficient operations\nCollaborate closely with production teams to minimise disruption and maximise output\nPromote continuous improvement and best engineering practices across both sites\n\nQualifications & Requirements - Engineering Supervisor\n\nProven experience in an engineering supervisory role within a manufacturing or FMCG environment\nStrong electrical bias with the ability to support mechanical maintenance activities\nExperience managing or leading engineering teams\nAbility to diagnose faults, carry out root cause analysis, and implement solutions\nStrong understanding of preventative maintenance systems\nExcellent communication and leadership skills\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment\nEngineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND or equivalent) desirable\n\nWhat we can offer - Engineering Supervisor\n\nHighly competitive salary\nGrowing and stable FMCG business\n25 days holiday + Bank Holidays\nGood pension scheme (details to be confirmed)\nExcellent career progression opportunities across multiple manufacturing sites\n\nCall for action:\n\nFor more information on this role, please contact Charlie Boulton on (phone number removed) or send a copy of your CV to \n\nOmega is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
