Job DescriptionEngineering Supervisor – £55,000 Location: BrightonSalary: £55,000Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pmPosition: PermanentCall Out: 1 in 6The Role We're looking for an experienced Engineering Supervisor / Lead Engineer to join an established engineering team at a critical commercial site in Brighton.This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee the day-to-day engineering operation, coordinate workloads and ensure planned and reactive maintenance is delivered safely and efficiently.It's an excellent opportunity for a strong electrical engineer who has progressed into a Lead Engineer or Supervisory position but still enjoys being technically involved.Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the on-site engineering teamManage PPM and reactive maintenance workloadsSupport engineers with technical issues and fault findingMonitor critical mechanical and electrical plantOversee contractors and ensure works are completed safelyManage permits and safe systems of workEnsure outstanding maintenance tasks are completed on timeSupport the training and development of engineersLiaise with clients regarding technical issues and ongoing worksIdentify opportunities to improve plant reliability and site performanceWhat We're Looking For City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification18th EditionStrong commercial or critical building maintenance experiencePrevious Lead Engineer, Shift Manager or Supervisory experienceGood knowledge of M&E building servicesStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsConfident managing engineers, contractors and client relationshipsFull UK driving licenceWillingness to participate in a 1-in-6 call-out rotaWhat's on Offer? £55,000 salaryMonday to Friday, 8am–5pmPermanent position1-in-6 call-out with additional payments and overtimeHigh-profile critical envirTPBN1_UKTJ
