Engineering Supervisor

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm (occasional flexibility required)



We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead a small team of engineers at a prestigious commercial site in King’s Cross. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of day-to-day operations in a high-profile, client-facing environment.



The Role



As Engineering Supervisor, you will manage a team of four engineers, ensuring all planned and reactive maintenance across the site is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You'll be hands-on, technically capable, and confident overseeing building services systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.



Key Responsibilities



* Supervise and support a team of 4 multi-skilled engineers



* Oversee planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks across the site



* Provide hands-on support with electrical/mechanical systems as needed



* Ensure compliance with all statutory and company health & safety policies



* Conduct routine audits, risk assessments, and quality checks



* Act as first point of contact for technical queries and escalations



* Liaise with site clients, subcontractors, and senior management



* Maintain accurate records using CAFM and ensure timely reporting



* Support training and development of team members



About You



* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in building services, with supervisory experience



* Recognised qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)



* Strong knowledge of M&E systems, particularly HVAC, BMS, and electrical infrastructure



* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
