We have expanded over 27 years to fulfil more of our customers' needs and now comprises of several business divisions, our Manufacturing division proudly makes Health & Beauty products here in Britain at our 100,000 square foot factory.

We are currently looking to recruit a skilled Engineering Supervisor to join us on a permanent, full-time basis working 40 hours per week at our Manufacturing division on site in Redditch.

Main Job Purpose:

To oversee all work carried out by the engineering team on a daily basis and provide leadership, guidance, and direction to the engineering team whilst also ensuring that projects meet quality standards and deadlines. The role will also play an important part in ensuring all plant equipment is serviced and repaired efficiently and effectively in order to support and maintain production output.

As an Engineering Supervisor, your duties will include:

• Ensure that all health, safety and environmental requirements are in place and followed by engineers.
• Coordinate with engineers or other supervisors to set priorities for projects and ensure that they are met.
• Review project proposals to determine feasibility, scope, cost estimates, and timelines.
• Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback to help improve skill sets.
• Monitor the work of engineers to ensure that they are adhering to plans and specifications.
• Monitor employees’ attendance, on-the-job performance and productivity.
• Recommend new technologies for use in projects based on cost, safety, efficiency, and other considerations.
• Lead by example and inspire others with an innovative approach.
• Working closely with the Engineering Manager, continually identify opportunities to reduce complexity, cost, and waste and be a promoter and ambassador of change.

What we are looking for in our ideal Engineering Supervisor:

• Must possess manufacturing engineering experience in FMCG, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals or Food (Volume assembly manufacturing).
• Relevant Engineering qualification in a mechanically / electrically biased discipline (Degree / HND).
• An up-to-date Electrical qualification (18th Edition).
• An aptitude to provide a strong level of leadership and ability to coordinate and lead multi-disciplined teams.
• Broad engineering background with good understanding of key legal obligations for managing large manufacturing facilities & assets.
