We are now seeking several hands-on Prototyping Technicians to join our Magnet Technology group at our Fort Worth facility. This is a rare opportunity to play a direct role in returning an essential manufacturing capability to the United States.

The Role

You will support the development of advanced manufacturing technologies for high-performance rare earth permanent magnets. Working alongside process engineers, you will operate pilot plant equipment, prepare and test materials, run experimental trials, and capture the data that drives continuous improvement. The work is practical, purposeful, and directly tied to some of the most strategically important manufacturing programmes in the country.

Key Responsibilities

•     Operate and maintain pilot plant equipment for prototyping magnets, with occasional support for production operations

•     Prepare, handle, and process raw materials, powders, and samples in line with established SOPs

•     Perform measurements and collect process data using a range of laboratory instruments

•     Support pilot-scale experimental trials and provide accurate, detailed documentation of results

•     Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times

•     Work closely with the EHS team to uphold world-class health and safety standards and full environmental compliance.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

•     1+ years of operational experience in a manufacturing environment

•     Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to standard work

•     Comfortable with record keeping in both physical and electronic formats

•     Proven ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team

•     Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

•     Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desirable:

•     Experience operating equipment with HMI controls

•     Background in metal or ceramic manufacturing—casting, powder processing, heat treatment, machining, or surface finishing

•     Experience handling air-sensitive materials
