No.: CJD(phone number removed)B\n\nLocation: South-East of England\n\nSalary: Circa £60,000\n\nThis is the ideal opportunity to join my client, a growing, innovative Multidisciplinary Consultancy, renowned for lending their expertise to a range of high-profile projects across the civil and structural engineering, geotechnical, and telecommunications engineering sectors. They are searching for a keen, capable Projects Manager to oversee an array of construction and build projects, who is willing to take on a variety of challenges alongside an already-established team of professionals, based in the South-East of England, with a willingness to travel regularly to the head office (located near Birmingham).\n\nBenefits for the role of Projects Manager include (but are not limited to):\n\nHighly competitive salary (commensurate with experience)\nEmployee pension scheme\nGenerous annual leave allowance\nSick pay\nAccess to a company car\nPossibility of hybrid working opportunities\nProgression opportunities within the company\nAccess to a range of high-profile projects across the region \n\nResponsibilities for the role of Projects Manager include:\n\nTaking instruction and handover of works, enabling the commencement of building works\nAttending site visits, noting all aspects of works required in a clear, concise way\nInterpreting designs and drawings for completion of the required construction/building works\nConceiving projects and delivering them from initial inception to successful completion, adhering to deadlines and budgets\nLiaising with clients and stakeholders from across the public and private sectors, including building control, sub-contractors, suppliers, etc.\nDirect all aspects of projects, and managing all parties involved, ensuring projects are undertaken to the highest of standards\nPreparing and issuing all necessary documents to enable the completion of works \n\nRequired skills and experience for the role of Projects Manager include:\n\nA Degree in a relevant discipline\nExtensive experience of managing a range of construction-based projects, in a UK consultancy setting\nDemonstrable experience of liaising with/managing a diverse range of clients and other stakeholders, throughout the successful delivery of projects\nExperience of interpreting construction and build works designs and drawings\nProven experience of working with piling\nExcellent working knowledge of a range of different construction techniques, including structures and materials\nOutstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills\nA willingness to travel to the head office (based on the outskirts of Birmingham) two to three times each month\nHold a full, valid UK driving licence \n\nDesirable skills and experience for the role of Projects Manager include:\n\nExcellent numeracy and literacy skills\nGood knowledge of the locality and surrounding area \n\nIf you are interested in the role of Projects Manager (Construction), please do not hesitate to contact Caroline Davis at Penguin Recruitment.
