Salary: £40,000 to £48,000

An opportunity has opened for an Engineering Project Manager to join a manufacturing company in Shrewsbury. The ideal candidate will have experience of Project Management within an engineering environment and will ideally have a background of mechanical engineering or similar.



Engineering Project Manager Key Skills:



* Experience working as a Project Manager or Project Lead



* Excellent Engineering experience – Mechanical ideally



* Knowledge of project management tools and methods



* Excellent communication and leadership



* Experience liaising with external suppliers and customers



* Any design or manufacturing experience would be a bonus



* Process development and improvement background



* Any budgeting, forecasting and project planning would be good



Engineering Project Manager Responsibilities:



* Develop and define project plans, deliverables and timelines



* Take customer requirements and provide plans with timelines



* Manage project budgets and improve cost effectiveness



* Keep track of performance, progress and report back



* Drive continuous improvement within the teams



* Make changes to project plans to overcome challenges
