iCOMAT is a leading innovator in the advanced composites manufacturing industry. We specialize in the design, development, and production of high-performance composite materials and structures for various applications, including aerospace, automotive, marine, and sporting goods. As we continue to push the boundaries of composite technology, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our cutting-edge projects.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic project manager with a passion for engineering to help us deliver on the exciting projects we have now and in the future. We want someone who is incredibly self-driven, but who also gets the best out of the team around them. The ideal candidate will be a detail focused project leader that can manage multiple projects simultaneously. The projects range from multi-partner Innovate UK (IUK) projects to single yet complex customer contracts. We need someone that takes great pride in ensuring projects are delivered on time and achieve all of the milestones and deliverables. The successful candidate should also be highly accomplished at producing and maintaining progress reports.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Confident in running multiple IUK and customer contracts
- To lead on all company communication for projects assigned to
- Assist in the bidding process for new projects
- Highly adept at resource management and efficiency
- Is able to remain up to date with the RTS technology and its capabilities
- Introduce efficiency improvements to iCOMAT’s project management (internal and external)
- Provide accurate and relevant information for project claims
Education Requirements, Skills And Experience
- Degree qualified, ideally within an engineering discipline
- Exceptional technical project management skills
- Exceptional Office 365 skills, particularly Project, Excel & PowerPoint
- A track record of successfully managing IUK projects would be highly advantageous
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent team player
- Exceptional communication skills
- Adaptable and able to work under pressure

Ways of working
There will be the opportunity to work both at iCOMAT headquarters in Bristol and remotely when it is most efficient. This is a UK based position.
