Act as the Cabinet Engineering focal with between Bombardier multi-disciplinary teams and suppliers. Prepare different types of Engineering documentation to support start of design activities. Define technical requirements and participate in strategic planning. Help supplier to understand and follow BA processes and best practices. Find & propose opportunities for product & process improvement (cycle time reduction, ease of production, weight reduction etc.) Review specifications for accuracy across documentations Be mindful of project potential technical issues (critical designs, risks etc.) Support Program Change Requests (PCR). Coordinate technical integration meetings, analyze, and define technical proposals to meet program needs. Participate in aircrafts go & see in production to assess build or installation issues. Communicate efficiently with colleagues, cross functional teams, and upper management. Validate certification documents as required to ensure design comply with regulations. Act as a technical leader and transfer knowledge through coaching/mentoring within your larger team. •How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience: You have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent. You have more than 10 years relevant technical experience in aircraft interiors completions. Cabinet experience is an asset. You have solid experience with Catia/Enovia and Teamcenter/NX (GSD, Assy, Part Body, Drafting, etc.) You are well organized and focused on projects. You have the ability to understand complex engineering issues and are innovative in problem solving. You have good oral and written communication skills in French and English. You like to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team, you adapt easily to changes, and customer satisfaction is your number one priority. You can understand complex engineering issues and are innovative in problem solving. You must be a self-motivated person, a team player able to work under pressure and under a minimum of supervision.
