Job Description
Job Title: Engineering Manager
Location: Ashburn, VA 20147
Pay Rate: $60 - $63/hr.
Duration: 3 months, possible extension, or conversion
Hours:
M–F 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (some emergency on-call possible)
Work Environment:
Working in a data center with some client interaction
Team Overview:
Leading seven Union employees
Typical Day Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily building walks
- Check and assign tickets
- Oversee PMs
- Manage vendors
- Manage schedules
- Manage payroll
- Employee management
Licenses/Certifications:
Any applicable licenses/certifications highly
Must-Have Skills:
- People management
- Data center experience
- Basic knowledge of UPS and critical cooling
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- IT knowledge
- Project management experience
Years of Experience:
5–8 years
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline
