The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the engineering team in the design, development, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, tooling, and products. This role ensures operational efficiency, product quality, and compliance with industry standards while driving innovation and supporting production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

\nKey Responsibilities\n

  • \nLead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technical staff\n

  • \nOversee product design, tooling development, and process engineering activities\n
  • \n

  • \nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs\n
  • \n

  • \nCollaborate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve technical issues\n
  • \n

  • \nEnsure designs and processes meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements\n
  • \n

  • \nManage engineering projects from concept through implementation, including timelines and budgets\n
  • \n

  • \nSupport new product introduction (NPI) and process validation activities\n
  • \n

  • \nReview and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation\n
  • \n

  • \nImplement lean manufacturing and process optimization strategies\n
  • \n

  • \nEnsure compliance with safety standards, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations\n
  • \n

  • \nEvaluate and implement new technologies, equipment, and automation opportunities\n
  • \n

\nQualifications\n

Required:

\n

    \n
  • \nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field\n
  • \n

  • \n5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment\n
  • \n

  • \n2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience\n
  • \n

  • \nStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, and product design\n
  • \n

  • \nExperience with CAD software and engineering documentation\n
  • \n

  • \nExperience in metal manufacturing, machining, or brass/aluminum production\n
  • \n

  • \nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies\n

  • \nProject management experience\n
