Job Description

Engineering Manager / Site Manager / Branch Manager required to join a global, leading engineering supplier.\n\nThe successful Engineering Manager / Site Manager / Branch Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Engineers, Supply Chain, and General Engineering teams. This role will focus on overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams, driving efficiency, and supporting the successful delivery of various pneumatic & hydraulic products and solutions, plus managing relationships with existing customers and distributors while developing new business opportunities in the Fluid Power sector.\n \nThe Engineering Manager / Site Manager / Branch Manager Role must have a proven ability to lead and inspire engineering teams, drive performance, and implement high-quality standards. You will ideally have a background in fluid power, specifically Pneumatics & hydraulics, or related sectors.

We are looking for a dynamic manager who can enhance operations, optimise team performance, and deliver impactful results.\n\nPackage:\n\n£45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience\n25 days holiday + Bank Holidays\nCompany pension\nBonus\nAdditional benefitsEngineering Manager / Site Manager / Branch Manager Role:\n\nLead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Engineers, supply chain, and general engineering teams within fluid power, specifically hydraulics and pneumatics.\nDrive team performance and optimise operations to meet company objectives.\nManage relationships with existing customers and distributors while developing new business opportunities in the Fluid Power sector.\nMaintain effective inventory management, stock control, and logistics to ensure smooth operations.\nLiaise with various engineering departments.\nHandle fluid power sales-related activities, including providing product demonstrations, attending exhibitions, and negotiating sales.\nSite-based near BasingstokeEngineering Manager / Site Manager / Branch Manager Requirements:\n\nProven experience as a Branch Manager, Depot Manager, Operations Manager, Engineering Manager, Site Manager, Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role within an engineering environment.\nExperience with Pneumatics and Hydraulics is essential. Knowledge of Fluid Power products, such as Valves, Pumps, Filtration, Compressors, Vacuum Systems, Blowers, Motors, or similar mechanical engineering products, is highly desirable.\nExperience leading, mentoring, and motivating teams to deliver impactful results for hydraulic solutions.\nSolid experience in managing day-to-day operations, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and logistics.\nSales Manager, Account Manager, Service Manager, Design Manager or Internal Sales Engineer looking to step up into a Site Manager role will also be considered.\nAbility to commute to Basingstoke daily.\nAn engineering degree or equivalent qualifications are advantageous
